Super Power Bars by Elizabeth Thomas

About a year ago, began a love affair for Elizabeth Eats Good Nut Butter. It was the most magical creation my taste buds have ever tried. So, I invited Elizabeth Thomas, the creator of these magical butters to the blog. Today, her nut butter and our protein powder cosmically collide to make CBD Infused Vanilla Chai Protein Bars AKA Super Power Bars. It's a total treat filled with plant protein, adaptogens, CBD, antioxidants, minerals, and gut friendly ingredients. The perfect sweet fix and on the go morning fuel!

THE RECIPE

In a large bowl mix together dry ingredients:

+ 1 cup oat flour

+ 1/2 cup rolled oats

+ 1/2 cup The Salty Vogue Vanilla Chai protein powder

+ 1/4 teaspoon salt

 

To the dry ingredients add wet ingredients:

+ 1/2 cup Elizabeth Eats nut butter of your choice

+ 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons honey/maple syrup/agave 

+ 2 teaspoons coconut oil

+ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Mix with your hands until a dough forms.

 

Press into a 7x5 sized dish (or whatever comparable size you have) lined with plastic wrap or parchment paper for easy removal. Allow the bars to set up in the fridge for a few hours. Remove from dish and cut into desired sizes. Store in the fridge. Enjoy!
